The following are ways to ensure food safety:
- Always wash your hands before eating or preparing food.
- Keep raw and cooked foods separate to avoid contamination.
- Store perishable foods in the refrigerator.
- Wash fruits and vegetables before eating them.
- Use clean utensils for cooking and eating.
- Cover food to keep flies and germs away.
- Avoid eating food that smells or looks spoiled.
- Cook food thoroughly to kill harmful bacteria.
- Use separate chopping boards for raw meats and vegetables.
- Ensure water used for cooking and drinking is clean and safe.
