Sound can also act as a warning, alerting us to danger, such as a fire alarm or a car horn.

Uses of Sound

Sound is used in many ways. We use it to communicate through talking and singing. It’s used in warning signals, like car horns and doorbells. We use sound for entertainment, such as listening to music or watching movies. Nature sounds, like rain or wind, can create a pleasant environment. And sound helps us identify objects, like a ringing telephone.
