To deliver this lesson,the teacher will use the following: Flashcards showing hardworking and lazy peopel,picture charts of children doing house chores and school work,audio recordings of moral stories on hard work,a short video skit showing hard work and laziness,chalkboard and marker.

This lesson helps pupils understand the importance of being hardworking and why laziness must be discouraged for personal and national progress.

Pupils have previously learned about good behavior at home and in school and are familiar with simple tasks they can perform.

Meaning of Hard Work

Hard work means doing your best in everything you do. It means putting in effort to complete tasks, even when they are not easy. A hardworking person always tries to do what is right without giving up.

Ways of Discouraging laziness

Laziness means not wanting to work or do anything useful. It can lead to failure and poor results.The following are ways to discourage laziness:

Wake up early and start your day with a plan
Help your parents or guardians at home
Do your homework and classwork regularly
Set small goals and complete them one by one
Play after finishing your duties
Spend time with friends who are hardworking
Ask for help when you are tired or confused
Avoid too much sleep or playing all day
Engage in physical activities or sports to stay active and energized.
Read motivational books or stories that inspire hard work and perseverance.
Limit screen time and social media use,which can lead to procrastination and laziness.
Break down large tasks into smaller, manageable steps to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
