Benefits of the Internet

The internet supports communication, research, online learning, maps, banking, public services, business and entertainment. It can connect a class with libraries, experts and current information beyond one textbook.

A benefit depends on responsible use. Learners should compare sources, protect passwords and personal information, avoid unknown downloads and report harmful contact. Information being online does not make it true.
