Abuse Of Internet And The Effects
Internet abuse means using the internet in a wrong way. This can cause problems for the user and others. It can include doing wrong things online.
The following are forms of internet abuse:
- Sending rude or bad messages
- Watching videos not meant for children
- Lying to people online
- Bullying people on the internet
- Sharing private pictures or videos
- Participating in online scams or fraud
- Downloading illegal content
- Hacking into other people’s accounts
- Spreading false information or rumors
Effects of Internet Abuse
Internet abuse can cause harm to children and adults. It can also damage people’s minds and behavior.
The following are effects of internet abuse:
- It can make children learn bad things
- It can lead to poor performance in school
- It can make people sad or afraid
- It can damage the brain with too much screen time
- It can cause addiction to phones or internet.
- It can lead to identity theft and financial loss
- It can expose individuals to cyberbullying and harassment
