Note for teachers using this lesson plan

Teachers should ensure that the Yoruba terms are pronounced correctly and explained clearly. Encourage pupils to share personal experiences of achievement and diligence to make the lesson more relatable. Use positive reinforcement to motivate pupils to embody the qualities discussed. The lesson can be extended by asking pupils to draw pictures illustrating diligent activities.
