- Hard disk: This is the main storage area in most computers.It’s like a big library that holds all your programs,files,and the operating system.
- Compact disk (CD): These are small, flat discs that can store music, videos, or data. They are often used for storing music or software.
- Flash drive: These are small,portable devices that can be plugged into a computer to store and transfer data. They are often used for backing up files or moving data between computers.
- Memory card: These are small, removable cards used in cameras, phones, and other devices to store photos, videos, and other data.
- Solid State Drive (SSD): Similar to hard disks but faster and more durable,often used in modern laptops and desktops.
- External Hard Drive: Portable storage devices used to back up large amounts of data or transfer files between computers.
