The Person Of Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Holy Trinity. He is not a thing or a force but a person who speaks, teaches, and guides Christians.

Memory Verse: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things. — John 14:26

The Holy Spirit as a Person

The Holy Spirit is not just a power; He is a real person. He has a mind, emotions, and a will. He helps us understand God and live like Jesus.

The Holy Spirit teaches, guides, comforts, and helps us to live a good Christian life. He also gives Christians special gifts to serve God better.

The Holy Spirit and the Trinity

The Trinity means one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit works together with the Father and the Son.

Works of the Holy Spirit

These include:

  1. Teaching us God’s word
  2. Helping us to pray
  3. Giving us boldness to preach the gospel
  4. Giving spiritual gifts
  5. Comforting us when we are sad
  6. Convicting us when we do wrong
