The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He comes to live in us when we believe in Jesus. The Holy Spirit helps us to do what is right and avoid sin.

The Work of the Holy Spirit in Our Lives

The Holy Spirit works in many ways to help us become better Christians. He changes our hearts, teaches us the truth, and helps us to pray.

The following are the influences of the Holy Spirit in our lives:

Helps us to understand the word of God
Gives us boldness to tell others about Jesus
Produces good behaviour like love, joy, and peace
Warns us not to do wrong things
Guides us to make good choices
Comforts us when we are sad or afraid
Helps us to pray when we don’t know how

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit produces good qualities in us called the “fruit of the Spirit”. These help us to live like Jesus.
