Note for teachers using this lesson plan
Teachers should prepare flashcards or a chart with various singular nouns and their plural forms (by adding ‘s’) to visually aid the pupils. The central concept is for pupils to understand that plurals mean “more than one” and to correctly form simple plurals by adding ‘s’ to singular nouns. By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to identify and express simple plurals.
