1. Ìtumõ Õrõ-orúkô (Definition of Noun)

Õrõ-orúkô ni õrõ tí a fi ń tûka sí orúkô ènìyàn, eranko, ohun, ibi tàbí èrò kan. (A noun is a word used to refer to the name of a person, animal, thing, place, or idea).

Àpççrç: Ayõ, ilé, ijapa, ìwé, ìfé, ìbànújë.

2. Oríśi Õrõ-orúkô (Types of Nouns)

Àwôn oríśi õrõ-orúkô wõnyí ni ó wà:

  • Orúkô Àdájë (Proper Noun): Õrõ-orúkô tí ó tûka sí orúkô pàtó fún ènìyàn, ibi, tàbí ohun kan. Wõn máa ń bèrè pçlú lçtà ńlá.
  • Àpççrç: Kòkú, Adé, Ìbàdàn, Nàìjíríà, Õjòrò.

  • Orúkô Àśeékà (Countable Noun): Õrõ-orúkô tí a lè kà nípasë nûmba.
  • Àpççrç: Akçkõö kan, àga méjì, ìwé mẹ́ta.

  • Orúkô Aláìśeékà (Uncountable Noun): Õrõ-orúkô tí a kò lè kà nípasë nûmba. Wõn máa ń dúró fún èrò, ohun àìrí, tàbí nkan tí a kò lè pín sí wçwç.
  • Àpççrç: Omi, iyõ, ìrçsì, ìfé, iná.
