What is Work?

Work is any activity that requires effort and leads to a specific result. It can be a paid job, volunteering, or helping at home.

Why We Should Work

There are many reasons why we should work. These include:

  1. Financial Security: Work provides money for necessities like food and shelter and allows for saving and achieving financial goals.
  2. Character Building: Work teaches valuable skills like discipline, duty, and perseverance, building a strong work ethic and time management skills. A strong work ethic is meaningful for success in life,as discussed in this lesson on criminal behaviors.
