Security management means keeping people and places safe from harm or danger. It involves actions and plans to protect people and property.

These include:

2. Reporting strangers or unknown persons
3. Keeping the school environment clean and clear
4. Having emergency numbers ready
5. Obeying security rules in school
6. Conducting regular safety drills to prepare for emergencies
7. Ensuring proper lighting and visibility in all areas of the school

Security Management

Security management is the planned identification, reduction and monitoring of risks to people, property and information. It includes assessing hazards, setting rules, controlling access, preparing for emergencies, recording incidents and reviewing what happened.

Good management combines prevention with response. It uses trained lawful personnel and clear reporting lines rather than rumours, private punishment or unsafe confrontation.
