Meaning of Jesus the Light of the World

Jesus the Light of the World in John’s Gospel

1. John 3:19: “And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.” This verse highlights that Jesus, as the Light, exposes the true nature of human actions and beliefs, leading to a choice between embracing His truth or clinging to spiritual darkness.
2. John 8:12: “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world.
