Uses of Word Processor
A word processor is a helpful tool with many uses. It lets you:
- Type Documents: Create and format text for reports, essays, and letters.
- Edit and Revise: Make changes, correct errors, or update information.
- Format Text: Use different styles,fonts,and sizes to make documents look nice.
- Insert Images and tables: Add pictures and tables to make your work better.
- Save and Print: Keep your work on the computer and print it out.
- Create Newsletters: Design and produce newsletters for schools or clubs.
- Write Scripts: Format scripts for plays, movies, or presentations.
- Design Flyers: Create attractive flyers for events or announcements.
Uses of a Word Processor
A word processor is used to create, edit, format, save, retrieve and print documents. Learners can write letters, reports, tables, notices and assignments; correct spelling; change layout; and insert suitable images.
Editing changes content while formatting changes appearance. Save regularly with a clear filename, keep a backup and do not copy another person’s work without acknowledgement.
