Our communities have many helpers who perform significant jobs to keep things running smoothly. These people are essential for our safety, health, and well-being. We’ll learn about some of them today!

Types of Community Helpers

Community helpers provide essential services to keep our communities functioning. These include:

Healthcare Professionals:
- Doctors: They diagnose and treat illnesses.
- Nurses: They assist doctors and care for patients.
- Pharmacists: They dispense medications and provide health advice.
- Dentists: They care for our teeth and gums.
Emergency Services:
- Police officers: They maintain law and order,keep us safe.
- Firefighters: They put out fires and rescue people.

Other Essential Workers:
