Y-shape (on the shield): Represents the two main rivers of Nigeria, River Niger and River Benue, which meet at Lokoja.
Two Eagles: Represent strength and the national bird of Nigeria.

Red Flowers (Costus Spectabilis): Represents the national flower of Nigeria, symbolizing the beauty of the nation.

The Nigerian National Flag

The Nigerian National Flag is a rectangular flag divided vertically into three equal parts. It was designed by Mr. Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi in 1959.

The Nigerian National Currency
