The Healing And Commission Of Paul By Ananias

God used a disciple named Ananias to help Paul regain his sight and begin his work for Christ. Paul was blind after his encounter with Jesus and needed healing and guidance.

Ananias’ Vision (Acts 9:10–16)

Ananias was a disciple of Jesus in Damascus. One day, the Lord spoke to him in a vision and told him to go to a man named Saul (Paul). Saul was blind and praying. God told Ananias that Saul had seen a vision of him coming to lay hands on him so he could see again.

The Healing and Commissioning of Paul (Acts 9:17–19)

Ananias obeyed God and went to meet Saul. He laid his hands on Saul and said that the Lord Jesus had sent him to help him see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

God can use anyone, no matter their past.
