Nkowa nkebiokwu

Nkebiokwu bụ akụkụ ahịrịokwu nke nwere okwu jikọtara ọnụ ma na-arụ ọrụ pụrụ iche n’ahịrịokwu, ma ọ gaghị ezu oke dịka ahịrịokwu zuru ezu n’onwe ya.

Ngosiputa nkebiokwu n’ahịrịokwu

The following are ụzọ e si gosipụta nkebiokwu n’ime ahịrịokwu:

  • Ịchọpụta akụkụ okwu jikọtara ọnụ na-arụ otu ọrụ (dịka aha, omume, ma ọ bụ nkọwa).

Nkowa agwa ọma

Agwa ọma bụ omume ziri ezi a na-atụ anya n’aka mmadụ, nke na-eweta udo, nkwanye ugwu, na ịdị n’otu n’ụlọ na n’obodo.

The following are omumaatụ agwa ọma:

  • Ikpe eziokwu
  • Ịkwanyere ndị okenye ugwu

Nkowa agwa ojọọ

Nkowa mmemmadu

The following are omumaatụ mmemmadu n’ahịrịokwu:

  • “Ọ bụ onye na-enyere mmadụ aka mgbe niile.”
  • “Nwa okorobịa ahụ na-asọpụrụ ndị okenye.”
  • “Ọ na-ekwu eziokwu n’oge niile.”

Nkowa egbeokwu

Egbeokwu bụ okwu ma ọ bụ ahịrịokwu e ji kpalie mmadụ, gbaa ya ume, ma ọ bụ dọwa ya aka ná ntị banyere agwa na omume.

The following are omumaatụ egbeokwu n’ahịrịokwu:

  • “Gụọ akwụkwọ ka ị bụrụ mmadụ.”
  • “Zere izu ohi ka aha gị ghara imebi.”
  • “Kwanyere ndị okenye ugwu ka e kwanyere gị ugwu.”

Step 6: AGỤMAGỤ – Mmemmadu na Egbeokwu

Time: 5 minutes
Teaching Skill: Explanation/Illustration
Teacher’s Activity: The teacher defines mmemmadu and egbeokwu and guides pupils to form sentences that show each one.
Pupils’ Activity: Pupils write two sentences and read them aloud, identifying which is mmemmadu and which is egbeokwu.
Learning Point: Mmemmadu describes behaviour while egbeokwu encourages or warns.

Note for teachers using this lesson plan

Keep examples short and familiar to pupils’ daily life. Ensure pupils write and identify nkebiokwu clearly, and guide discussion on behaviour without personal attacks by using general school and community situations.
