Meaning of Nationalism

  • Corruption: Dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.
  • Insecurity: The state of being subject to danger or threat, including terrorism, kidnapping, and communal clashes.
  • Tribalism/Ethnicity: Strong loyalty to one’s own tribe or ethnic group, often leading to discrimination against others.
  • Religious Fanaticism: Extreme and unquestioning enthusiasm or zeal for one’s own religion, often leading to intolerance and violence.
  • Poverty: The state of being extremely poor, characterized by lack of basic necessities like food, shelter, and healthcare.
  • Illiteracy: The inability to read or write, which limits individual and national development.
  • Indiscipline: Lack of control in the behavior of people, leading to lawlessness and disorder.

Nationalistic Roles of Individuals
