Managing Security On Human Trafficking And Prostitution

Meaning of Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is when people are tricked or forced to leave their home and used for bad jobs.

The following are signs of human trafficking:

People being taken to unknown places
No freedom to move or talk
Working without pay
Always being watched
Scared to talk about their life
Living in poor conditions
Having their documents taken away

Meaning of Prostitution

Prostitution is when someone is paid to have sex with another person. It is harmful and illegal for children. The following are the dangers of prostitution:

Spread of diseases
Risk of abuse and violence
Shame and social rejection
Arrest by law officers
Ruined future plans
mental health issues
social isolation

Ways to Manage Security on Human Trafficking and Prostitution

This part teaches how to prevent and stop human trafficking and prostitution in our environment. They are:

Do not follow strangers
Report anyone asking to take you away
talk to trusted adults
