Social Stability

The following are conditions of social stability for marriage:

Emotional maturity to manage disagreements peacefully.
Ability to maintain good relationships with in-laws and community.
Capacity to take responsibility for a family.
Respect for social norms, culture, and values of marriage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide love, care, and support for a spouse.

Financial Readiness

Financial readiness means having the ability to meet the basic needs of the family and to sustain living conditions after marriage. It does not mean being wealthy but being financially capable and responsible.

The following are conditions of financial readiness for marriage:

Having a stable source of income or job.
Ability to plan and manage resources wisely.
Savings to cater for immediate and future needs.
Capacity to provide food, clothing, and shelter for the family.
Ability to handle financial responsibilities without depending fully on others.
Readiness to share financial responsibilities with a spouse in unity.
