Description
Download the complete SS1 New National Curriculum for Nigeria from one organised class-level resource page. The curriculum files can be added separately by subject, allowing users to download only the subjects relevant to their school or programme.
Nigeria’s revised national curriculum was introduced by the Federal Ministry of Education as part of a major reform designed to reduce subject overload, promote skill development, strengthen practical and digital learning, and make education more focused and functional. The reform followed consultations involving the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), WAEC, NECO, NBTE, NABTEB and other education and assessment stakeholders, and took effect from the 2025/2026 academic session.
The revised senior secondary structure is built around a smaller 8–9 subject load, combining core requirements with electives from Science, Humanities or Business and a practical trade subject.
