- Hypothesis: Proposing a testable explanation or educated guess for the observation or problem. A hypothesis is a statement that can be proven true or false through experimentation.
- Experimentation: Designing and conducting a controlled procedure to test the hypothesis. This involves manipulating variables and collecting data.
- Data Analysis: Organising, interpreting, and analysing the data collected from the experiment. This often involves using charts, graphs, or statistical methods.
- Conclusion: Drawing a conclusion based on the analysis of the data. The conclusion states whether the hypothesis is supported or refuted by the experimental evidence.
