ADSUBEB Strengthens Education in Adamawa with New Teaching Materials

The Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB) has boosted learning activities at Saman Dam Primary School in Yola South Local Government Area by providing essential teaching and learning materials to the school.

The intervention followed a promise made during the official handover of the school to government authorities and is part of ongoing efforts to improve the standard of basic education across Adamawa State.

Items distributed to the school included pupils’ chairs, teachers’ tables and chairs, cartons of chalk, textbooks, and other classroom instructional materials aimed at supporting both teachers and learners.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, ADSUBEB Permanent Member II, Dr. Aliyu Sa’ad, reaffirmed the board’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education through the provision of adequate learning facilities and educational resources.

According to him, the initiative is designed to address critical challenges facing public primary schools and create a better learning environment for pupils. He explained that providing schools with the right teaching tools would improve classroom activities and help students achieve better academic outcomes.

Dr. Sa’ad also emphasized that the Adamawa State government remains committed to strengthening foundational education and ensuring that schools across the state receive the support needed for effective teaching and learning.

The head teacher of Saman Dam Primary School, Madam Ladi Abdul’Azeez, expressed appreciation to the board and government officials for fulfilling their promise to the school community. She commended the leadership of ADSUBEB for supporting the advancement of primary education in the state.

Education stakeholders have described the intervention as a positive step toward improving learning conditions in public schools and encouraging academic excellence among pupils in Adamawa State.
