Description
Download the complete JSS 1 New National Curriculum for Nigeria from one organised class-level resource page. The curriculum files can be added separately by subject, allowing users to download only the subjects relevant to their school or programme.
Nigeria’s revised national curriculum was introduced by the Federal Ministry of Education as part of a major reform designed to reduce subject overload, promote skill development, strengthen practical and digital learning, and make education more focused and functional. The reform followed consultations involving the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), WAEC, NECO, NBTE, NABTEB and other education and assessment stakeholders, and took effect from the 2025/2026 academic session.
At junior secondary level, the revised curriculum strengthens core academic learning while giving greater attention to digital technologies, Nigerian History, citizenship, business awareness and practical trade skills.
