The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) has announced that the original result slips for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be available for printing from Wednesday.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement, the original UTME result slip contains candidates’ passport photographs, national performance rankings, and other security features designed to ensure authenticity and prevent forgery.
JAMB explained that the document is an essential requirement for post-UTME screening exercises and admission processing in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
Candidates have been advised to print their result slips using any internet-enabled device or visit an accredited cyber café or business centre to obtain a hard copy.
The Board further urged candidates to carefully verify all personal details on the slip immediately after printing and ensure they keep multiple copies, as it will be required throughout the admission process.
With this development, candidates seeking admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are expected to complete this step promptly as part of the 2026 admission procedures.
