Components of Mobile Phone
A mobile phone is made up of several interconnected parts that work together to enable its functions. Key hardware components include:
- Casing/Housing: The outer body that protects the internal components and gives the phone its design.
- Display Screen: The visual output device, typically a touchscreen (for smartphones) or an LCD (for feature phones), that shows information.
- Keypad/Keyboard: A set of buttons used for inputting numbers, letters, and commands (common in feature phones, virtual on smartphones).
- Motherboard (Printed Circuit Board – PCB): The main circuit board that connects all the electronic components and allows them to communicate. It is the “brain” of the phone.

- Memory (RAM and ROM):
