  2. Proper Erection: The scaffold must be erected by competent persons according to design specifications and safety standards.
  3. Level and Firm Foundation: It must rest on a firm, level, and adequately supported base to prevent settling or shifting.
  4. Adequate Bracing: Proper diagonal and horizontal bracing is essential to prevent sway and ensure rigidity.
  5. Guardrails and Toe Boards: Working platforms must have guardrails (top rail, mid-rail) and toe boards to prevent falls of persons and objects.
  6. Safe Access: Ladders or stairways must be provided for safe access to and from working platforms.

  7. Clean and Dry: Kept clean and dry to prevent slips.
