Understanding adequate diet helps pupils know the importance of eating the right food that keeps the body healthy and strong.

Meaning And Importance Of Adequate Diet

Adequate diet is a meal that contains all the classes of food in the right quantity. It gives the body energy and helps it grow well.

Importance of Adequate Diet

Adequate diet helps us grow strong and stay healthy. It also helps our body fight sickness.

the following are the importance of adequate diet:

  1. Makes the body grow properly
  2. Gives energy to work and play
  3. Helps the body fight sickness
  4. Repairs worn-out body parts
  5. Keeps the skin and eyes healthy
  6. Supports brain development and cognitive function
  7. Maintains a healthy weight and prevents obesity
