Numbers tell us “how many” of something there are. We use numbers every day!

Counting Numbers 0-15

We can count many things around us:
  • Fingers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
  • Toes: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
  • Stones: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
  • Bottle tops: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

We will learn to trace these numbers:

  • 3: Start at the top, make a curve, then another curve.
