Job description
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Primary School Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where students can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the Nigerian and British Curriculum.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Design and implement effective assessments to track student progress and inform differentiated instruction.
Foster a love of Art and encouraging students to become confident in the field of Art.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with curriculum developments.
QUALIFICATION:
Holds a valid teaching qualification (e.g., Nigerian Certificate in Education – NCE or Bachelor of Education – B.Ed) with a focus on Fine Art.
Minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies.
Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to innovation in the classroom.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning experiences.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
